Doggy dining
The state Legislature recently passed a bill amending the Health and Safety Code to allow dogs in restaurants, as long as they are in outdoor areas where no food preparation occurs. (Isn’t it good to know our state lawmakers are working so hard on our behalf?)
There are, of course, some rules: Dogs must be on a leash or in a container and no climbing on seats, sitting at the tables or on the benches. On-duty employees may not have direct conduct with dogs and, if they do, they must wash their hands.
Morro Bay Dog Friendly Restaurants make dinning out with your dog easy, and very enjoyable. The restaurants listed below provide outdoor seating, many in settings that showcase our beautiful bay and sea vistas.
The list below is divided by sections. Regardless of where you stay or your overnight stay choice, there is a restaurant nearby that will cater to your pet. Simply click-on the picture and go to the Restaurant’s website.
